Tim and Peggy Bare partnered with John Wick Homes and started Preferred Building Systems, Inc in 1993. In the past 15 years Preferred has built more than 140 homes in Jefferson County and the surrounding area including: Jefferson, Fort Atkinson, Cambridge, Lake Mills, Watertown, and Johnson Creek.
